Ursula Leach

Having trained in Winchester, Wimbledon and West Surrey, Ursula’s work is inspired by the chalk landscape of Cranborne Chase. She uses vivid blocks of bright colour to bring agriculture landscapes to life, these also suggestive of current agricultural practices and the gradual effect of global warming. The apparent simplicity of the forms and heat of the colours within her work are intended to elicit a strong emotional response.
