I was asked this week what my obsession was? Apart from swimming in the sea, I am obsessed with art & colour!

Artist Antonia Black is an example of someone who has an extraordinary energy & passion in her work & this reflects in her character! A fascinating person who has travelled the world & led such a fascinating life. She has won numerous awards & her art is collected worldwide.

We are in discussions about a solo show in our Bruton gallery. The roof of the gallery will be blown off by the colour & energy of her work!

The winners of our instagram challenge competition

The winners of our instagram challenge competition have been selected🌟. This was a huge challenge in itself! We asked 15 artists to help choose their favourite paintings, which ironically made things even harder. So many chose different paintings across the board. We finally had to make decision, and the winners were chosen by the most amount of votes based on their originality, technique & subject.

I cannot thank each & everyone of you enough who contributed to this challenge & donated to The Hampshire Medical Fund. We were overwhelmed by the quality of work submitted by all ages. Each painting deserved to be a winner.

We were so delighted that this competition encouraged so many of you to get painting. Thank you thank you thank you!

Jeanette is primarily a pastel painter but also paints in oils. She is so passionate about colour & this comes across in so much of her beautiful work. She is President of the Pastel Society, one of my most favourite art Societies. They hold an annual exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London, including some of the finest pastel painters in the UK. We’ve had almost 100 submissions for our painting challenge and we are so grateful to you all for your support and generous donations towards the @hampshiremedicalfund. We are thrilled to have raised enough money to help the fund purchase a substantial amount of Iqoro devices, which is wonderful.
