Bridget Greenwood

Bridget is a contemporary abstract landscape painter based in Cheshire, close to the Welsh border.

Her paintings explore her fascination with the landscape. She sketches outside to record the moment, but her paintings are completed in the studio where they go through many stages before she feels that she has kept the essence whilst reducing and paring back the landscape to shapes and marks.

Bridget only came back to fine art over lockdown when the creative urge resurfaced, the need to record the daily walks, to understand the emotional impact that the nature and the landscape was having on her
