I am one of five siblings and four of them are professional artists. Daphne is the eldest of the clan and has become very successful as a naive artist over the years. Her work is so joyful and her paintings transport you to a world of exotic places and dreams. I have always admired Daphne's patience to paint in such detail, as I am the complete opposite!

Many of Daphne’s paintings are also now available in beautiful quality prints and I have a lovely collection of her work at the gallery for my Summer show.

Summer feels like it’s nearly upon us & how grateful I think we all are to have this glorious weather of no rain!
Hot off the easel & just arrived at the gallery, this is one of many beautiful paintings that are part of my online & by appointment summer show starting in June.
We are fortunate to have a vast gallery space of over 2000sq ft, which lends itself to hanging all this beautiful work.

Gemma’s beautiful ceramic plates are finally on their way from South Africa to Hampshire. Her divine collection of platters and plates always look so beautiful intermingled in the gallery with the art. I always seem to have a sell out of her work, I think people love that each plate is individually hand painted, they are glazed in soft colours and have a rustic charm about them. Her collection will be part of our summer show.

One of my favourite painters is Terence Clarke, who is part of our next ’Spotlight On’.

I have always been drawn to Terence's sunny Mediterranean landscape paintings. His use of warm and expressive colours have a similarity to the work of Matisse and the Scottish Colourists. Azure water, sailing boats, pine trees and intense light are all part of these expressive paintings.

I am the proud owner of one of these paintings. On those grey English days, his painting always transports me to those lovely warm climates where I thrive to be!
