Drawing & Painting a Still Life

This is an ideal workshop for children wanting to improve their observational skills. Translating 3D objects to a 2D drawing is an important skill for all artists. Once the shapes and proportions are applied on canvas, children will paint from their imagination to create representational or abstract art. Different techniques showing depth with shading, texture and patterns are all important ingredients for a still life painting.
