Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity over half term for young art lovers and art scholars to enjoy an inspiring educational tour of the new Nadia Waterfield Fine Art gallery.
Children will be shown around the latest exhibition which features a diverse range of paintings from over 60 up and coming and established artists. The tour will include a group discussion on the different styles of the paintings and sculptures, the various mediums used and the artists’ backgrounds, which will broaden children’s background knowledge of art.
Children will be encouraged to choose their favourite painting and to explain what inspires them about it. At the end of the session children will have a chance to draw their favourite painting in their sketch books. Parents are welcome to stay or drop off.
