Painting flowers in Oil/Acrylic with Parastoo Ganjei 1

If you have a passion for painting flowers, this one day workshop will be invaluable for anyone wanting to learn, develop and enjoy this subject matter.

Parastoo is a very well known floral painter and a superb tutor.  She will help you gain the confidence to paint strong and satisfying flower portraits by studying the theory and practice of colour mixing.  You will learn how to observe roses in terms of patterns or tonal value to help you create a three-dimensional effect.

Floral painting is not simply to reproduce the appearance of the subject but to capture its soul.  Using brush techniques to achieve the most with the fewest strokes.  The changing brush shape and the spreading of paint will provide intriguing and spontaneous effects.

She aims for students to complete at least two finished paintings during the course of the day.

Each student will get plenty of personal attention.

Parastoo Ganjei, comes from an artistic family, with a grandfather who was a prominent painter in Iran.
