Born in 1956, the sculptor Bryan Hanlon is a self-taught painter and sculptor working in a wide range of mediums. Living and working in Wiltshire Bryan is surrounded by the environment which has inspired his paintings for many years and which he now portrays in his bronzes, having taken up sculpting in the last 18 months.
Well-known as a wildlife artist, most specifically birds, Bryan also paints landscapes, portraits, and sporting subjects. He has exhibited widely, both nationally and internationally with one man and mixed exhibitions, including the Tryon Gallery, the Brian Sinfield Gallery, World of Watercolours in London and at Birds in Art Exhibition in Wisconsin, USA. Bryan has done many commissions including illustrating books and has written and illustrated African Wildlife.
