REFUND POLICY
Customer satisfaction is very important to us. If any item we ship independently to a client (i.e. we do not pass over the goods ‘face to face’) does not meet customer expectation or requirements, then the client must contact us either by email or letter within 7 working days beginning the day after the goods have been received to request resolution of any issue or to request a full refund (to include the cost of outward shipping to the client).
In these circumstances we require the client to pay the cost of returning the item to us in the condition in which it was sent and packed to the same standard to avoid damage in transit. Refunds will be made within 5 working days upon return of artworks received in good order.
Statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Jenny Sutton
Jenny Sutton is a painter of intimate still life, garden and architectural landscapes. She works mostly in oil, her studio still lifes being meticulously arranged to achieve an exciting balance of shapes and colours, light playing a vital part in unifying the composition.
She read Fine Art at Reading University in the sixties, and came under the influence of Claude Rogers and Euan Uglow, among others, before turning to graphics and typography for some years.
Becoming a full time painter in the eighties while bringing up a young family was the starting point for her obsession with simple kitchen and garden objects, the stuff of everyday family life, which led to a series of beautifully drawn and crafted still lifes.
I thought it a good idea to express rather better the motivation behind my new work. Always have loved the rugged natural beauty of old cornish houses, inspired by the sense of age and generations of lives lived, and built from the very rock and earth surrounding. I love the way light shows structure, and particularly am drawn to white walls.
She works on board coated with 3 layers of gesso and texture paste ,followed by an acrylic coat of a neutral mid grey. Using a variety of source material including both drawing and photographs in charcoal which when finalised after many changes is finalised with a brush line. Jenny uses Michael Harding oils which are applied with a palette knife, the underlying texture allowing random areas of broken colour and allows her to soften the drawn outlines.
