Carol Saunderson

Carol Saunderson

Carol Saunderson was born into a farming family in East Anglia. Her work as a painter, over the last 25 or so years, has remained strongly connected to the land and its creatures.

The hours spent walking in the landscape around her Suffolk home, provide the inspiration for her paintings. She does not record exact scenes, focussing instead on atmosphere. With an emphasis on colour, light and composition, her semi-abstract works record moments of thought and experience.

During her career, her work has been exhibited at galleries around the UK. It has been reproduced as greetings cards and prints and appeared in magazines.
