Emily Deacock

Hampshire born artist Emily Deacock’s work is a vision in blue, the sea forming its main inspiration. Her striking use of bright blues and turquoise reflect life, but also tranquillity and the meditative quality of water, juxtaposed with bobbing boats and wonderfully suggestive depictions of light and shadow. Mostly self-taught, she uses watercolour, acrylic and oil to create a thoroughly modern effect.
