John McClenghen

The landscapes of Stirlingshire have always been close to the heart of John McClenaghen, descendent of generations of Scottish farmers. Having studied at Glasgow School of Art, he taught for many years before focusing on his painting work which is a wonderful representation of the rural landscapes around him and their heritage, or other seascapes around the UK. It somehow conjures up both the vibrancy of today and the memory of yesterday.
