Lucie Geffré

Hailing from Bordeaux, Lucie Geffré lives and works in Madrid. Her subject matter encompasses animals and humans, depicted through a very restrained, serene palette dominated by tones of grey, white and sepia. Her portraiture uses one strong, focal colour as a backdrop to the subject and  to set them in relief. The effect is one of powerful calm.
