Penny German studied at North Oxfordshire school of Art.

Inspiration and influences range from John Singer Sargeant, joachim sorrola,Euan Uglow, Giorgio Morandi, William Nicholson.  She is inspired by the countryside around me and the changing seasons.  She loves painting flowers and vintage china and kitchenalia.

Based in rural Northamptonshire where she work out of my garden studio overlooking fields. She works in oils and work only from life in the studio or when the mood takes her, painting en plain-air in the countryside.

She is an associate member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists and a member of Chelsea Art Society and a regular exhibitor with the Royal Society of Oil painters at the Mall Galleries. She also teach workshops in Northamptonshire.
