Roger Hardy

Having trained in Graphic Design, Roger started sculpting and moved to rural Suffolk in 2000. The figures in his work, hewn out of remnants from local boatyards and wood found at high tide or in the Alde estuary, seem to hark from another age. Their inherently worn appearance reflects the passage of human life in its simplest form, resonating with the passing of time which defines our condition.
