These absolutely beautiful paintings by Christian Moore @christianmooreart will be exhibited in all their glory at our Spring Hampshire Art Fair opening next Saturday 20 April.

These paintings are even more beautiful in the flesh. Christian works with cold cast bronze on hessian, combining sand & mineral paint. One can only appreciate the textures in his paintings when you see them up close, and his stunning frames just complete them into masterpieces. They are so tranquil & could hang in any room in one’s house!

Very few artists paint in egg tempera these days. This medium was used before oil paints were invented and it produces wonderful pure & rich colours to artists’ gesso’d boards.

Here is my wonderful sister giving us a tutorial. Zarina works in both egg tempera and oils and you’ll be able to see a selection of her beautiful paintings at The Hampshire Art Fair (22 April - 20 May) in a few weeks time!
